Cunard has unveiled a new program of 93 voyages sailing between October 2028 and May 2029, headlined by the return of Queen Elizabeth as she travels to Australia on her 2029 World Voyage.

Queen Elizabeth will call at Fremantle, Kangaroo Island, Melbourne and Burnie before an overnight stay in Sydney, and crossing the Tasman to Auckland and Wellington.

The wider program covers 104 destinations in 49 countries and includes 64 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Guests will spend an average of 12 hours in port, with 18 overnight port calls and 18 late-evening departures.

Queen Elizabeth’s 115-night World Voyage spans five continents. She departs Southampton on 23 January 2029 and returns on 17 May 2029.

Highlights range from the islands of the South Pacific to Singapore’s Michelin-starred street food and Cape Town’s Table Mountain. The ship will stay overnight in Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and Cape Town.

Australians can join the voyage on one of three local sectors: Fremantle to Sydney which will depart on 16 March 2029; Sydney to Los Angeles which will depart on 25 March 2029; and Sydney to Miami, wherein guests can extend the Los Angeles sector to a 43-night voyage to Miami.

Other highlighted voyages

  • Queen Mary 2’s 500th Transatlantic Crossing: The 21-night roundtrip from New York marks a milestone for the world’s only ocean liner. Guests can also embark in Hamburg, Southampton and Liverpool. It is the first time since 2015 that guests can depart Liverpool on a Cunard Transatlantic Crossing.
  • Queen Anne’s South America Discovery: Cunard’s newest ship returns to South America on a 60-night voyage. She will stay overnight in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival, and also in Buenos Aires and Callao.
  • Queen Victoria’s Scandinavian escapes: Sailing from Southampton, she will visit Scandinavia, Northern Europe and the Norwegian fjords, as well as Spain, Portugal, Morocco and the Canary Islands. New voyages include a longer Scandinavian sailing with overnight stays in Copenhagen and Oslo, and a Norway and Northern Lights voyage.

“Some journeys become stories you’ll tell for years to come, and this new programme brings together some of the most memorable experiences we have ever offered,” Cunard president Paul Ludlow said. “Whether guests are looking for a short European escape, an iconic ocean crossing or the adventure of a lifetime, there is a voyage designed to inspire.”

General bookings open from 1am AEDT on 5 November 2026.
