National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is offering travellers an air credit of up to AU$2,000/NZ$2,350 per person on select 2027 expeditions.
The offer applies to qualifying bookings made between 15 September and 4 November 2026.
The expeditions cover destinations from the Arctic and Antarctica to French Polynesia, Japan and Patagonia. Travellers can step onto Antarctic ice, search for polar bears among Svalbard’s sea ice, or explore UNESCO-protected atolls in the South Pacific under the promotion.
Naturalists, cultural specialists and certified photo instructors lead every voyage, and National Geographic photographers and Expedition experts join select departures to help guests capture images of Arctic wildlife, including walruses, musk oxen and narwhals.
Eligible 2027 voyages
- Svalbard: In Search of Iconic Arctic Wildlife – Travellers sail to the high Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, one of the best places on the planet to see polar bears in their native habitat, and can hike among sculptural arrangements of whale bones on pebbled beaches and the remains of trappers’ huts.
- Antarctica Direct: Fly the Drake Passage – Guests bypass the traditional Drake Passage crossing with a two-hour flight to and from Antarctica, then discover the continent’s towering ice, abundant wildlife and shifting landscapes.
- Coastal Japan: Imperial Dynasties and Modern Culture – The voyage traces Asia’s heritage from Korea’s UNESCO-listed Gyeongju ruins to Kyoto’s geisha culture, taking in Japanese gardens, samurai castles and the art-filled island of Naoshima.
- Fabled Lands of the North: Greenland to Newfoundland – Travellers explore Western Greenland’s coastline, from the streets of Sisimiut to the towering icebergs of Ilulissat in UNESCO-listed Disko Bay.
- Pearls of the Pacific: The Society and Tuamotu Islands – Guests experience French Polynesia’s islands and atolls and explore underwater habitats in the Tuamotu Archipelago and Fakarava, both protected by UNESCO for their biodiversity.
- Celtic Coasts and Iberian Shores: Voyage from Edinburgh to Lisbon – The itinerary takes in medieval strongholds and maritime heritage from Edinburgh to Lisbon, with stops to sample the flavours of Cornwall and Porto.
- Patagonia: Chilean Fjords and Argentina’s Staten Island – Travellers venture by Zodiac and kayak along Chile’s fjords and glaciers, hike ashore with naturalists, and watch for elephant seals, Magellanic penguins and Andean condors.
