Aurora Expeditions has unveiled its 2028–2029 Antarctic season, featuring 37 voyages, four new itineraries and seven Special Edition voyages, inviting travellers to discover the southernmost regions with savings of up to 25 per cent on selected departures for a limited time.

The sale is applicable on selected voyages booked and deposited by 31 January 2027.

Spanning Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falklands~Malvinas and Patagonia, the season features expeditions ranging from eight to 23 days aboard Aurora’s three small ships, Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle and Douglas Mawson.

The program introduces Antarctica: Behind The Lens, a documentary-themed expedition with renowned wildlife and conservation storytellers, alongside an activity-inclusive journey combining South Georgia and Antarctica and a dedicated exploration of South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.

For all departures aboard Greg Mortimer, a new Buenos Aires round-trip gateway includes pre-voyage accommodation, charter flights between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, and transfers, bringing key travel arrangements together in one itinerary. For those with limited time, the season also offers greater flexibility, with 10 fly voyages and 16 departures of 11 days or less, making an Antarctic adventure more accessible for time-conscious travellers.

“Antarctica remains at the heart of Aurora Expeditions, and this season is about creating even more meaningful ways for travellers to experience it,” Aurora Expeditions global head of product Justin Ewin said. “From exploring alongside the people behind landmark wildlife and conservation documentaries to discovering South Georgia through immersive activities, these new voyages bring fresh perspectives to destinations we’ve explored for more than 35 years.”
