If you saw kids with shiny bookbags and clean clothes headed to a bus stop or a school building this week, it wasn’t hard to guess it was the first day of school.
Yes, the unofficial end to summer is here.
With Labor Day falling late this year, Catholic school students returned to school Aug. 27 for the first day of school.
Places like Immaculate Heart of Mary in Wilmington and so many more welcomed kids back with smiles and well-wishes.
