Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas has made its return to Brisbane, marking its fourth year as the region’s largest ship.
Over the summer cruising season, Quantum will deliver a lineup of 28 holidays ranging from three-night weekend escapes to nine-night adventures across the South Pacific.
“We’re excited to bring our award-winning Quantum of the Seas back to Brisbane, giving more Queensland families the unforgettable Royal Caribbean holiday experiences they know and love,” Royal Caribbean vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Gavin Smith said.
“With more short getaways and weekend departures, this season makes it easier than ever to escape, whether it’s a quick weekend away with friends or a longer adventure with the whole family.”
Holiday thrills
Holidaymakers can choose from 13 itineraries across Australia’s East Coast including three- to seven-night getaways visiting Airlie Beach and Cairns.
Beyond the Sunshine State, South Pacific sailings will take travellers to destinations including Nouméa, New Caledonia and Port Vila and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.
On board, Quantum offers the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator, FlowRider surf simulator and the North Star observation capsule.
Travellers can also experience a range of global cuisines from American steakhouse classics at Chops Grille to sushi at Izumi and family-style favourites at Jamie’s Italian, alongside live entertainment and plenty of ways to unwind at Vitality Spa and the adults-only Solarium.
Royal Caribbean will double down on its Quantum Class presence this summer with Anthem of the Seas set to join Quantum Down Under this month.
Departing from Sydney Harbour, Anthem will offer 21 escapes ranging from three- to 11-nights across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Meet the Wiggles
This season will also see the return of Royal Caribbean’s Wiggles-themed holidays, exclusive to Royal Caribbean, featuring The Wiggly Friends across Quantum and Anthem of the Seas.
Across three themed adventures, families can holiday alongside The Wiggles and their Wiggly Friends, including Tsehay Hawkins (Yellow Wiggle), Lucia Field (Blue Wiggle), Caterina Mete (Red Wiggle) and the Tree of Wisdom.
Alongside Royal Caribbean’s signature family experiences, holidaymakers can look forward to an action-packed lineup of character events, live concerts and exclusive Royal Caribbean x The Wiggles merchandise.
