Seabourn is already looking ahead to summer 2027 with Seabourn Encore returning to Alaska from May to September offering 18 departures, 15 ports and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Seabourn Encore will explore Alaska and British Columbia, and guests can further extend their exploration of Alaska with “The Denali Experience,” an optional pre-cruise land-based package designed to showcase the state’s storied interior.
The departures range from seven to 15 days through Alaska and the Inside Passage of Canada. The itineraries combine iconic destinations with lesser-visited ports, remote waterways and opportunities to explore Alaska both along the coast and into its interior.
The Denali Experience is an optional pre-cruise Seabourn journey that takes guests into the storied interior of Alaska and deep into Denali National Park and Preserve. The seven-night land-based program complements Seabourn’s voyages with deeper exploration of Alaska’s interior.
“Year after year, Alaska has stood out among destinations that Seabourn guests can’t get enough of, and Seabourn Encore’s 2027 season will offer another opportunity to experience this remarkable part of the world,” Seabourn president Mark Tamis said.
“From exploring remote waterways to discovering authentic coastal towns rich with culture and history, our Alaska program will go beyond the expected, bringing guests closer to the region’s wildlife, landscapes and communities, all with the comforts and anticipatory service of a luxury, all-suite Seabourn ship.”
Ventures by Seabourn
A hallmark of Seabourn’s Alaska experience is the optional Ventures by Seabourn, the line’s signature program of expert-led excursions that bring guests closer to the region’s wildlife, landscapes and culture. Guests can paddle pristine waters by kayak or travel by Zodiac to watch for whales and explore glaciers, fjords, coves and other areas inaccessible to larger ships.
Seabourn Encore can directly launch kayaks and Zodiacs, creating a seamless transition from the ship to the surrounding landscape.
Seabourn Encore offers an intimate, all-suite experience designed to complement the destination at every turn. Every suite includes a private veranda, providing front-row views of glaciers, wildlife and coastal scenery, while the ship’s yacht-like atmosphere, personalised service and thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces create a comfortable setting from which to experience the region.
The cruise line recently wrapped up its 2026 Alaska season on 18 September.
